My 3 Favorite Vegan Leather Brands
I've been living in leather. Unfortunately, it's still 85 degrees in LA but I'll melt away as long as I can look effortless in one of my many leather moto jackets.
While moto jackets may have a tough look to them, they are actually very versatile. Add some attitude to a flowy skirt; polish off a crop top and leggings; ground a floaty bohemian dress; or even use it as a simple coverup to a bodysuit ;)
While the style options are endless, so are the fabrics. While I do have one real leather moto jacket (can be seen here), I also have a couple vegan options. While vegan leather less expensive than real leather, it looks and feels the same. So if you are interested in going the vegan route, here are a couple of my favorite brands.
- BLANK NYC: Easy Rider Faux Leather Jacket - this is the jacket I'm wearing in the pics. This is the most affordable vegan jacket I own at $90 and I bought it from Nordstroms. The other jackets are online orders so if you're in a rush, this will be your best bet. Not all of their leather jackets are vegan so if it's really important to you, be sure to check the description before purchasing.
- PROJECT GRAVITAS: The Nelson Jacket - I was introduced to Project Gravitas last year at SXSW and was moved by the brand story. While I actually have the Olive leather jacket, since this post is all about the moto, the Nelson Jacket is your perfect match.
- FREE PEOPLE: There isn't a specific jacket linked for Free People because they have an entire section of faux fur coats and began leather jackets. Most of their vegan leather jackets are under $200.
